Data Retention

Terms of Service

1. Services

NovaLink S.A. provides technology consulting and software development services, including custom software development, system integration, business automation, and WhatsApp Business Platform integrations. All services are delivered on a project basis pursuant to individual service agreements between NovaLink and the client organization.

2. Project-Based Implementation Model

NovaLink does not operate a public self-service platform. All engagements are initiated through direct business agreements. The scope, deliverables, timeline, and terms of each project are defined in a separate service agreement. These Terms of Service govern the general relationship between NovaLink and its clients and do not supersede project-specific agreements.

3. Third-Party Platform Usage

Certain services may involve the use of third-party platforms, including but not limited to WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta Platforms), cloud infrastructure providers, and third-party APIs. The client's use of such platforms through solutions implemented by NovaLink is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective platform providers. NovaLink is not responsible for changes to third-party platform terms, pricing, availability, or functionality.

4. Intellectual Property

Intellectual property arrangements — including ownership of custom software, code, and developed assets — are governed by the individual service agreement for each project. Unless otherwise specified in writing, custom software and code developed by NovaLink for a client project remains subject to the terms of that agreement. NovaLink retains ownership of general methodologies, frameworks, and tools developed independently of any specific client engagement.

5. Ownership of Business Assets

The ownership and administration of business assets — including but not limited to WhatsApp Business accounts, phone numbers, API credentials, and system accounts — are determined by the specific service agreement for each project. Ownership may rest with the client organization, with NovaLink, or may be shared, depending on the nature and structure of the engagement. These Terms do not imply that all assets always belong to the client or always belong to NovaLink.

6. Acceptable Use

Clients agree to use NovaLink's services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing data privacy, electronic communications, and consumer protection. Clients further agree to use any third-party platforms integrated by NovaLink in accordance with those platforms' terms of service. NovaLink reserves the right to terminate a service engagement if continued performance would require violation of applicable law or platform terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NovaLink's liability arising from any project engagement is limited to the amounts paid by the client for the specific services giving rise to the claim. NovaLink is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Specific liability provisions may be further defined in individual project agreements.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Guatemala. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Guatemala.

NovaLink designed and developed a radiology automation platform for a healthcare organization operating across multiple clinic locations. The core challenge was consolidating imaging workflows, reducing manual radiologist workload, and accelerating result delivery to the appropriate clinical staff and patients.

The system integrates with a cloud-based PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) — specifically Stadrad Online PACS — enabling centralized storage and retrieval of radiology studies regardless of which clinic location the imaging was performed at. Physicians and authorized staff can access studies securely from any connected site.

An AI-assisted detection layer processes incoming images and flags potential pathologies for radiologist review, reducing the time required for initial triage and improving consistency in preliminary screening.

Overview

NovaLink built a full reservation and occupancy management platform for a hotel client, integrating directly with their existing CRM to create a seamless experience from initial room discovery through confirmed booking and payment.

The platform exposes real-time room availability to prospective guests via a customer-facing interface, allowing them to browse current occupancy, select available room types, and complete reservations online without staff intervention. Payment processing is integrated directly into the booking flow.

On the back end, all reservations flow into the hotel's CRM, maintaining a single source of truth for occupancy, guest records, and revenue tracking. Staff visibility into reservation status, check-in schedules, and room assignments is provided through an operations dashboard.
